Finance SME (Senior)

Job Context

As a (Senior) in our Data & Analytics practice in Riyadh, you will support leading organizations in the Middle East in transforming their finance functions to become more data-driven, technology-enabled, and strategically aligned with business objectives.

You will work at the intersection of strategy, finance, and technology, helping CFO organizations modernize their operating models, unlock value through AI-enabled finance capabilities, and improve financial performance through data-driven decision-making

Job Responsibility

·         Design and implementation of Finance strategies and Target Operating Models for the CFO organization, covering governance, processes, and enabling technologies

·         AI-driven Finance Transformation – acting as a bridge between finance stakeholders and data/technology teams to identify, design, and co-develop AI-enabled finance capabilities (e.g., generative AI, machine learning, intelligent automation) that enhance decision-making and automate finance processes

·         Leading cross-functional transformation initiatives at the intersection of finance, business, and technology within complex transformation programs

·         Finance Performance Management – redesigning planning, forecasting, and performance steering processes using advanced analytics and modern management reporting frameworks

·         Accounting & Closing Innovation – supporting the implementation of regulatory and IFRS requirements while improving accounting and closing processes through automation and digital tools

·         Treasury Transformation – design and implementation of modern treasury management capabilities and solutions

·         Leading large-scale Finance Transformation Programs – driving the execution of finance operating model transformations, digital finance platforms, and data-driven finance capabilities

·         Post-Merger Integration (PMI) – supporting finance integration and operating model alignment in merger and acquisition scenarios

·         Business Development & Client Engagement – supporting the development of new client opportunities, contributing to proposal development and client presentations, and building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders to expand the firm’s Finance and AI transformation footprint in the region

Educational Requirement

·         Outstanding academic degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Information Technology

·         Fluency in English is required

·         Arabic language skills are advantageous

Experience Requirement

·         Several years of practical consulting or industry experience in Finance & transformation initatives

·         Experience in leading workstreams or sub-projects within complex transformation programs

·         Strong understanding of Finance processes, Management Accounting, and performance steering frameworks

·         Strong understanding of AI-driven finance transformation, including how AI, automation, and advanced analytics can enhance finance processes and decision-making

·         Experience working in agile transformation environments, with familiarity in frameworks such as SAF in large transformation initiatives

·         Proven ability to operate across all organizational levels and engage effectively with senior stakeholders, including CFOs, finance leadership teams, and executive sponsors

·         Exposure to modern finance technology landscapes (e.g., ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP S/4HANA, consolidation, reporting, or treasury platforms) is considered a plus

·         Strong analytical, problem-solving, and structured communication skills

·         Excellent presentation and facilitation capabilities

·         Experience in leading project teams or workstreams, including mentoring and developing junior team members within complex transformation programs
