Job Context
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Junior Node.js Developer with at least 1 year of hands-on experience to join our growing engineering team in Chennai. In this role, you will contribute to the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications using modern technologies and industry best practices.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain microservices-based systems, APIs, and database-driven applications while gaining exposure to cloud-native architectures and enterprise-grade development processes.

Job Responsibility
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain backend applications using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.
- Design and implement robust RESTful APIs and gRPC services to support scalable applications.
- Build and maintain microservices-based solutions with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Design, optimize, and manage PostgreSQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and stored procedures.
- Integrate and manage API Gateway solutions to ensure secure and efficient communication between services.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues to maintain system stability and performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining coding standards, best practices, and development guidelines.
- Utilize Git and GitHub for version control, collaboration, and release management.
- Perform API testing and validation using Postman and related development tools.
- Contribute to technical documentation, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Educational Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology a related field.

Experience Requirement
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in backend development using Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with NestJS and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of REST API design and development principles.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL databases, including query optimization and database design.
- Familiarity with gRPC, Microservices Architecture, and API Gateway concepts.
- Knowledge of backend application architecture and scalable system design principles.
